Eclectica 7

2022 sees the seventh annual exhibition for the Contemporary Arts Practices artists working out of the Bribie Island Community Arts Centre.
“Eclectica 7” will, as the name suggests, show an eclectic range of 2D and 3D artworks.
The CAP group always set a few common subjects/techniques and this year they have experimented with “nests”, felting, “festoons” and played with paint application via a pendulum and a squeegee.
Other work in the exhibition will demonstrate how each artists’ artworks have evolved in their individual arts practices from Lesley’s iconic surreal images to Tineka’s refreshingly abstract free and bold art.
There will be landscapes, portraits, birds, flowers, animals and lots of colour and fun as well as numerous works that reflect on and show our support for the people of the Ukraine.
Come along and see their individual interpretations of these ideas.
