Masters and Apprentices Exhibition Bribie Island U3A

From Tuesday January 25th to Sunday February 6th 2022

Bribie U3A Art groups are enthusiastically planning for their 2022 annual ‘Masters and Apprentices’ exhibition at BICAS. The name reflects the structure of art at U3A. The Masters, our esteemed and invaluable volunteer tutors, give their expertise and time to the students - the Apprentices. Although the study pattern has been somewhat interrupted over the last two years, creativity is again flowing and work from 15 groups will include pencil, pen, acrylic, mixed media and watercolour, alongside silk painting.

The groups offer the chance for U3A members to fulfil an often long held wish to ‘try art’ through to advanced groups extending their skills. The exhibition supports the connection between the two organisations alongside the hope that artists will be tempted to continue their art journey by venturing into BICAS. All our tutors are volunteers who generally offer their assistance once a week and there are always members wanting to extend their experience creatively. So if you are willing to share your skill and experience, U3A would welcome your enquiry.
