Join this fun 2-day workshop Mixed Media on Canvas – with Tricia Reust

Saturday/Sunday November 7th & 8th

9am - 3.30pm

Working on two canvases, this workshop will cover techniques such as glazing, printing, stencilling and stamping.

Day 1 will cover basic design principles

Day 2 painting and dry drawing

Participants will use one smaller canvas (about 25cm x 30cm) and one 60cm x 75cm, or preferably larger.

You may wish to add already existing drawings in with your collage, or you can draw on your canvas (I will be doing both).

The smaller work will be completed with a minimal approach, and the larger work will incorporate all the techniques.

Ideally, there’ll be one theme to harmonise the work and a repetitive motif eg leaves, birds, chooks, fruit

or, if you prefer abstract, geometric shapes such as circles, rectangles, triangles etc.**
