Art Prize Conditions Of Entry:

Entry forms may be emailed to events@bribieartscentre.com.au, delivered in person to the Arts Centre 191 Sunderland Drive Bribie Island, or entered online.

Artists may enter a maximum of 2 works.

This competition and exhibition is open to young people aged 7 to 18 years who reside in, or attend a school within, the City of Moreton Bay (CMB). Home Schooled included. Entries from outside the City of Moreton Bay will not be accepted.

All entries must be the original work of the entrant. Submissions created using artificial intelligence (AI) will not be accepted. We want to see what you can do.

Entries must not exceed 1 metre in any direction.

All Work must be labelled with name, age, title of work and all 2D work must be ready to be hung. Use only D-hooks and hanging wire for framed work and stretch canvases NB: Please be aware - if you do not attach D-hooks and hanging wire, your work will not be judged or displayed. Refer to the D-Hooks sheet attached or on our website for instructions.

Any works that are a set/group are regarded as one entry and any work entered by a group is regarded as one entrant.

Work/s must be received Saturday, August 15, or Sunday, August 16, strictly between 9 and 12 pm.

The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Publicity will be arranged for the Next Generation Art Prize 2026 and all artists consent to reproductions of their work being used for these purposes and/or on our website.

Works must be collected on Saturday 13 September, strictly between the hours of 9 am - 12 pm, or Tuesday 15 – Friday 18 September between 9am and 4pm. After 1 month, any uncollected works become the property of BICAS and may be offered for sale.

We welcome all forms of creative expression in the visual arts. ANY SUBJECT AND ANY MEDIUM, except video and AI.
